Conditions seem excellent tonight here 

Jupiter looking superb even at 300x and the Moon showing amazing details at 400x - the rille on the floor of the Alpine Valley showing in places along it's sinuous length. Great stuff

Oh my, I'm not getting out until after 8pm, I will be so excited if conditions are anything like that our way once I'm out. Conditions seemed not so great our way last night, so I couldn't attempt some high res lunar imaging.

Agreed, Straight Wall is visible, as is Ganymede's shadow. Now waiting for IO to join the Jovian party. Just got to lay-off drinking too much beer until then.

Ay, it seems many of us have been blessed with really great skies this weekend which is great to see. Hope everyone who can, is enjoying a great session out
