first light with the new DSLR, Jupiter from tonight

just a quick post on the first of many pictures I've got tonight in 15 - 20 mph winds but clear sky

Canon 600D modified Baader Backyard EOS planetary mode on x5
camera mounted with x2 Barlow 1-600 shutter 1600 ISO 2000 frames
PPIP - registax

Very nice! Haven't tried planets with my DSLR. Definitely should give this a go soon!!

worked on what I considered the best 2 captures from last night

one from the ASI120 and one from the Canon for comparison

both produce about the same size of image

the ASI was mounted in the X2 Barlow as was the canon but the canon was using X5 mode in BYEOS

both captures were processed with PIPP Registax then PS CS6
