Skymax 127 AZ Goto Connecting to Laptop.

Been looking around seeing if anyone have had a similar question without any luck,

Been having a go connecting Skymax 127 AZ Goto to laptop, I am able to get the laptop and controller talking to each other (i.e. computer reading the position of the scope) I’m also able to synchronize them both. However, when I position the cursor on a new object and ask the scope to slew to the new position the maker on the laptop moves to the position but the scope itself remains motionless. Tried it on two different laptops one run Windows XP the other Windows 7 using Stelearum & Cartes Du have tried switching handset to PC direct and back with exactly the same results on all systems.   

Any idea where I going wrong

Try not using the PC Direct mode. People find that using PC Direct causes the mount not to slew.

Thanks have tried it in both modes no difference ?

I assume that you have configured Stellarium / CdC correctly so that the correct comm port has been assigned to the telescope control ? If you are using a USB/serial adapter to connect to the handset make sure that the comm port numbers match.
