KR 1.5 , KR 2 (81 A) filter

I've read so far that this filter is a color (warming) filter.

A friend recommended the KR 1.5. He recommended a 200mm F4 lens and added, "I suggest a UV 1 or KR. 1.5 to KR. 3 depending upon your area and light pollution."

I asked him what the filter would do but never got a response.

That was over a month ago and while I have a KR 1.5 and a KR 2 I'm not clear on their practical use in DSLR AP.

I've since ordered a 77mm IDAS P2 but still wonder about the KR filters.

Thanks!!

Hi, I'm looking for a 77mm IDAs myself, have you tested it yet?

I just got it in the mail yesterday! The ioptron skytracker arrived as well!

72mm P2.

Problem I have now is I have the wrong adapter for the lens but that will be corrected by Saturday.

Coincidentally its been raining since early so I didn't have a chance. Oh, and my wife has taken the filter and tracker for wrapping as my bday is still a week away.

Tilthen I'll be extra careful crossing streets and such!
