Deep Zooming Video

Just wondering if anyone has made a video like the NASA Hubble ones where they start with a wide field view and zoom into an object at the heart of the star field, presumably it's a lot of stills stitched together.

Thought I'd try it on M42 zooming into the Trapezium from a wide field of Orion.

I have CS4, any pointers on the method appreciated.

Saw this yesterday , looks a kinda complicated lens mod though ...

That's the sort of thing I had in mind, nice idea starting in daylight, hadn't thought of that, don't think I could do the lens mod though, I've got 17/85 and 70/200 zooms so thought I'd start with those and try combining them into a video before moving to scopes.

Give me something to do whilst imaging instead of going crosseyed staring at the PHD screen.
