My M82 SN

Finally for about 30minutes the clouds gave me a chance to catch the SN in M82.

Guiding was struggling with thin high cloud but in the end I managed this 10minute exposure.

Six months into imaging and a supernova, who would of thought.

Gear was SW 80ED Pro +reducer Hutech LP P2.....Canon 60Da.......600secs@iso800

No real processing, no darks, flats etc.

Have'nt marked it because I'm sure we all know where it is.

Thanks Bryan.

I wanted to do longer but those darn clouds just will not play ball.

By the time the cloud thinned enough to get good guiding I managed the one 10minute exposure.

Still happy as I have never seen a SN let alone image one.
