Sharpcap and a QHY5

I know it's an old camera now but can anyone help with why I get this error when trying to connect in Sharpcap?

On the camera drop down try the other entry for the camera, there are usually 2 entries. Failing that is the driver up to date and the sharpcap version latest?

The error message mentions the camera firmware version. Sharpcap found version 20090723 but requires version 20100813 to use the camera.

Just a thought.......I had a similar problem with the QHY5 in PHD......same or similar error message. Simply plugging in to a different USB port cured the problem.

Does that mean Sharpcap can't handle this firmware or do I have to find a different driver?

Sharpcap is version 2. 0.800.0 and the QHY driver is what came with it ( On a disc). Maybe see if I can find a later driver?

In answer to Knobby only one camera choice appears in the drop-down.

You need a more upto date camera driver.
