Afocal Images

With the new telescope I decided to try out some afocal images. Considering this Canon PowerShot S45 is now over 10 years old, I though it held up pretty well.

This was with the 20mm eyepiece and handheld, which for me isn't too bad even though the focus is a little out.

Then I tried Jupiter with the 10mm lens. I put the camera on a tripod.

Then finally when I finished the moon was creating a nice halo in the sky as it was hazy, do took a couple of long exposure shots, just camera on tripod.

Thanks, I thought i would add them as often the great sights can be seen clearly with the naked eye.
