Astronomik CLS EOS Clip filter Vs Celestron SCT LPF

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at getting one of these Astronomik CLS EOS Clip filter or Celestron SCT LPF for my C8 & Canon EOS 1000d, Which one would be better of do they perform the same? Also can the Celestron filter be used in conjunction with a Celestron F6.3 Focal reducer?

Many thanks.

I have an Astronomik CLS  clip filter but it does tend to give a blue cast to your pictures that has to be processed out, don't know anything about the Celestron filter but  I am considering getting an IDAS P2 LPS filter which has good reviews for better colour correction,  comes in 1.25 and 48mm, about £150.00.
