Sun in WL, boxing day

Hi,

Hurrah, finally a sunny morning and the chance of a capture over brekkie.  This is 15% of 1085 frames taken with an ST80 on a photographic tripod (no tracking) with a Lunt wedge and DMK41.  The last few frames had some cloud that confussed AS!2 so I had to use PIPP to get rid of them.

I can just get 1000+ frames by setting the major axis of the cameras chip to be in line with the motion of the sun, otherwise it goes out of the frame too quickly.  This is around 50 degrees at 09:30 local time and makes manually adjusting a tripod with no slo mo a bit of an art, mostly trying to remember whyich axis to move, usually both of course.
