Merry Christmas one and all ...

Awoke to a glorious morning after a very wet night , seeing not as good as the conditions suggested but can't complain ....

Had a proper play with the 1100D today , the poor old 1000D just clocked up 106,681 shutter operations in two years so it's probably a good time to get ready ...  :embarassed:

Last time out I was less than impressed with it ( to the extent that I was about to pop back to WEX and trade it for another 1000D ) but after a good run through various settings I think I'm getting happier with it.

Spent a good while with the temperamental Reg 6 too , still need to refine things but I've got him round to my way of thinking ... well nearly ...  :p

You lucky lot, I have travelled a 1/4 of the way around the world for some winter sun and it is overcast, whereas all I really needed to do was pop down to Suffolk/Cambs area. Great capture Steve, glad you have tamed the new camera and Reggie 6.

Merry Christmas

Robin
