Which Flattener For Equinox 120

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have just purchased a flattener William Optics Mark IV  and found out that I cannot get to focus as I need an extra 1 inch of internal travel which I haven't got. Luckily for me the supplier will take the flattener back which is very nice if him but that will leave me still looking for a flattener who will fit my scope. I am looking for a reducer/flattener to fit an Equinox 120 fitted with a CCD camera and a filter wheel.

Your advice will be really helpful as I don't know which way to go.

Thank you for your help.

Vince

Hi Vince and welcome to SGL

The Skywatcher flattener/reducer for the Evostar 120ED should work fine with the Equinox as well:

The Equinox 100 and 120 can use same flattener/reducer as the Evostar 100/120, but the Evostar 80 flattener is not compatible with the Equinox 80.

Hope this helps.
