yes, look at south-west as soon as the sun sets. its not too low. actually its quite high for venus :)

and its diameter is more than 50 arc seconds. thats more than jupiter at the moment! and it will get even larger in the next 7 days... up to 60 arc seconds, but it will also get lower and lower to the horizon...

i have no motor drive and as you can see the sope was also not polar aligned :)
