Surprisingly despite the weather forecast saying it would be cloudy this evening it was clear !! and the seeing was good.

Here is Jupiter with Europa in close attendance.

There were several blue festoons along the edge of the NEB (which showed irregularity) and a white barge. The NTZ also had darker features within it.

The GRS was just coming into view and stood out quite well compared to recent years. A lot of irregularity surrounded it.

Observation details : Intes Micro 715 at x150, 9th Dec 2013, 23:00UT, CM1 = 146.9', CM2 = 155.5', Jupiters altitude was 44', seeing AII.
