M78 - this looks quite interesting...

Recommended Posts

I managed to get some images during a storm last week. The sky was absolutely clear, but there was strong wind. I set up my gear anyways, but chickened out a few hours later because I feared the wind would rip my open roof observatory to shreds. I managed to get 1hour 50 minutes of data though, so at least I got to take a peek at the object, although not much detail can be seen. I cannot wait to have a go at this one with the new scope whenever my new camera arrives...

And thats about it... :)

Oh, flats, darks and bias frames are all wrong... I set wrong ISO, exposure time and everything - so I've had to improvized with them. :p Its not a serious attempt anyway, so... yeah... ;)

Sincerely, Alveprinsen.
