First proper session

Got the Barr and Stroud 10 x56 ED binos last week but this is the first clear night since I got them.

Breath taking . Jupiter and 3 moons. Ursa Minor fantastic. M 42 just below Orion's Belt.

I live in a heavily light polluted ( south tyneside) area but it was lovely to see the sky " open up" through the binos. I think I'm hooked.!

Congrats on that first light for your bins. If you live in a very light-polluted area, the great thing about bins is that you can take them along to dark sites easily.
