My basic ISON with ISS

Recommended Posts

Here's my feeble attempt at ISON. I only managed 13 subs (before sky became too light) at 128 secs, ISO 1600 with my frac and modded 600D. Plus 8 darks and lots of processing! The trail is the ISS passing by. The red, smudgy trail in the bottom right-hand corner is the galaxy NGC 4546. I've also attached a single sub with an arrow pointer so you can see it.

Hi Alexx,

Well done, those are cracking shots. You can be sure not many (read no one) will be getting pictures like that from now on. When did you take these?

Even better that you managed to capture the ISS and a galaxy!

Thanks guys! It was taken last month (can't remember the date - I'm at work so can't check!) with my Chipping Norton group, CNAAG. We either go to the Rollright stones or the old Chippy airfield. This was taken at the latter.
