No ISON but Mercury and Saturn were splendid

Recommended Posts

For the last three mornings I have seen Mercury and Spica above it, and on the last two Saturn amongst Eastern

murk and grimness but no Comet.

Ison may of course have remained too low this morning as it was not long after Saturn rose that the sky got brighter than those I

have previosly seen Panstars in, but yesterday and the day before it should have showed itself, but left me freezing my toes off

on Sandown beach.

All we cal do now is wait for December I suppose.

Ughhh, I'm missing out on all this: the trees are really tall off my eastern horizon. I read about the two planets being close for early risers and have had a look but not spotted. I'm overdue a clear morning after a full nights sleep!

As for ISON, well.................
