My dad says wow at my Apollo 15x70's

I lent him my 15x70's and a tripod to get him going at astro and terrestrial observing.  He is most impressed and loves the moon and M31.  He is quite well off and takes the view that if the 15x70's are good then, naturally, bigger bins will be even better... (I have explained that it is not quite that simple but you know how stubborn some folk are..... ;)   )

He has noticed in only one hour of use what we discuss all the time here, that objects higher than 50 degrees or so tripods are a PITA to use.  So he is thinking about the 45 degree angled EP bins.

So for a fantasy binocular game, up to say £1500, what would you suggest for him for the bins, tripod and head?

Thanks and Rgds, Steve
