Last night I caught this on the terminator, a bit wobbly, but stunning view with deep shadows even at low magnification.

Both craters were well picked out with the long snaking Schroter's Valley ending in a small crater. There was also a deep dark shadow caught in front of the smaller pair of craters. There were also several rill systems in the area.

This area is filled with attractive features and worth seeking out,

Nice and vivid description, Nick. Took a chance between clouds with binoviewer on 80ED, the details picked up very nicely in 90X.
