Swift (839) look at Luna

I actually managed a quick peek at the luna surface tonight with the 49 year old Swift 839, mounted on the AZ4 with 18mm and 7mm ortho, very good views considering the low height of the moon, but seems the optics are a tiny bit grubby, i can see a little "smearing" on the glass, will clean them up when i get time.

I did get a nice amount of crater detail, amazing little scope for a 60mm

Small refractors just keep on giving 

My old Tasco 60mm F/13 must be 40+ years old now. I've not looked through it for ages but I must get it set up again
