Been having a few issues with the mount intermittently over the last few weeks , halfway through the initial input procedure it's been starting to display all sorts of gobbledegook instead of the usual display , been getting more frequent of late and tonight it gave up the ghost and showed nothing on screen at all ... 

A quick question to David at A10 Optical who suggested dismantling the handset and cleaning the contacts on the back of the PCB and the contacts on the back of the keypad .

A quick rub over with a Q-Tip dampened with Baader Wonder fluid and "Hey Presto" everything's back as it should be ..... 

Only downer being the beautiful clear view of tonights full Moon was gone by the time I'd finished faffing about ...

At least your mount survived and should be in full working order next time the clouds part. Glad it was nothing serious.
