How much flocking material?

Without wishing to state the obvious, if that's what it is....

.....the circumference of the tube is the diameter x PI

So, an OTA of 11" or 28cm approx, will have a circumference of 28 x 3.14 = 88cm

So the total area you need is approx 88 x the tube length, say 125 cm = 11,000 square cm

You should be able to work it out to the nearest number of rolls from there if you know the roll size?

Yup I'll get the calculator to work...

Each roll has 4500 square centimetres, so if 11000 are needed, yep - that'll be three rolls with some left over. Quite a bit left over probably, but that's handy to have!

Cheers!
