straight or rightangled

Probably a really daft question.

But say on a small mak like a skymax can you only use an angled eye attachment, can you fit an eyepeice, or a camera direct on to the bottom please, and if you could what would it mean to image orientation.

I mostly use my 127 Mak for imaging and should I need to put in an eyepiece for alignment I tend not to use a diagonal.  It works just fine, but it's not exactly comfortable to use that way.  I can't recall what happens to the image orientation I'm afraid.  Mostly I tend to be interested in whether the target is in the centre of the field of view rather than which way up it is.
