Dropped my binos! :(

Tried fitting them onto a borrowed manfrotto tripod the other night while observing in the garden, managed to catch n save the brunt of the weight but the rim hit the floor and grazed it up, lens are undamaged luckily but have a feeling somethings been knocked out of alignment, also told yesterday I need spex as my eyes are in poor shape, so until I get my new spex next week I cant tell if they been knocked or not, I could see out fine yesterday then last night while looking at the stars I was getting double images of stuff, I played with moving the ipd in and out till I got near, only occasionally it was fine, hoping its my eyes and not my new binos or al be gutted!

Hope they turn out to be OK.

Always use the neck strap with binos and DSLR's! .. from the moment you pick them up to the moment you put them back down or securely fixed them in place.

Terrible! Note that even if the bins are out of collimation, it can be corrected. I did that with my old 10x50 bins, and they are fine ever since.
