imaging through light pollution best way

What would I need to image dso through light pollution. Getting to dark areas is a bit of a no no at this moment in time. Would a ccd and narrow band filters be the way forward. Only just getting into this imaging lark so im still uneducated.

narrowband is the best way but also one of the most expensive, a dslr and a lightpollution filter is the cheapest. all depends on how much want to spend

I've found that an SLR with an EOS CLS Clip filter works great (only works with EF lenses and scopes though, the clip filter won't work with EF-S lenses).

I got a very maximum of 2k to spend on a ccd and filters. Any recommendations

id get the 383L then add filters as and when, mono images alone are stunning and the chip on the 383l is a decent size

what size filters will be needed for that camera 2 or 1.25, or does that matter? FLO do a set of 2" for 460. also is a wheel needed or is that just a time saver
