Managed to complete this one after long last.

16x600 sec Ha

12x600 sec OIII

12x600 sec SII

Taken with the kit in my signature, I hope you like it. This is my first completed narrowband image, after lots of experimentation on previous attempts, so still early days.

Please comment for good and bad!

You've loads of signal there, but you have also been hit by the dreaded magenta stars! When developing the OIII and SII channels to match the Ha, try opening the saturation menu in Ps (crtl+u), selecting magenta, then reducing the saturation to -100. You may need to do that a couple of times to get rid of it completely. Also, if you have noels actions you can run "make stars smaller" on the red channel - which is the channel that gets pushed most in hubble format images.

Anyway, top stuff. You will get better with practice

After your excellent advice, i have now purchased Noels actions. It is amazing, and I cannot believe I have survived this long without them!

Here is the reprocess keeping the stars tighter, with less magenta. Thoughts please?
