SkyTee - 2 mount

Hello.I have just bought a SkyTee 2 mount and will be collecting it next week.I was thinking about counterweights.Are there dedicated weights for this mount?

The weights that are used with EQ5 and HEQ5 scopes will fit the SkyTee II counterweight bar.

FYI the azeq6 weights have a larger diameter hole hence would only be usable when mounted horizontally on st2. The diameter is larger than the safety pin on end hence used vertically would annihilate anything they drop onto, including toes!

I'm using the EQ6 weights I have, I just had to pop out the plastic tube inside the hole to fit them.

Hope all well with you. My friend has a skytee II and is loaded with a 10"snt, st120mm and a 152mm bresser frac. No counter weights and works great!..

I guess the two larger scopes are counterweighting each other with a rig like that

Absolutely John, I think he is testing to breaking point , but even without the big frac it is a joy to use.
