Half Price Alt-Az Mounts

Just noticed these decent looking mounts on the Explore Scientific Website. Worth a look if your in the market for a new Alt-Az mount.

I'm not sure if these are truly bargains or if the mounts are available elsewhere at similar prices?

On face value, it seems a good deal cheaper than the prices offered by Telescope House. For example, not including shipping, £171 vs £339 for the Twilight Double.

Telescope House's ES prices are crazy compared to what overseas dealers can offer. These alt-az mounts do look very like the Giro's and have a similar capacity. Good value if they are machined as well as the Giro's.

I am just curious as the name Giro is used by at least Bresser and ES these days. I always thought it is the name for the mounts made by Tele-Optics team made up from the first names of the team behind it, GI ovanni & RO lf
