Hot to attach a DSLR on a dovetail , sqaure and wont rotate?

Im looking at putting my dslr on one end of a dovetail and finder guider on the other.

Id like them to be parallel to each other, this is easy with the Finder as it has 3 holes in the foot and match fine with the options on the Dovetail....

However the single screw port on the camera is the week link, and id like it to not be able to rotate and as i said before parallel.

Any thoughts.

You could try one of these Earl. I have used it successfully for mounting my dslr on a dovetail for piggybacking on an ST80. When bolted tight to the dovetail it should not move and you can remove the camera when finished.

Not sure which SLR you have but in my Nikon, as well as the tripod mount screw hole there are a few other holes... Could you maybe put a peg on the dovetail to align with the other holes?
