colour or mono cameras

Me personally I love colour images but you can't beat the detail from a mono camera...my goal is a dual cctv imagining rig..the Phil dyer camera is of big intrest to me with the longer exposure than the samsung scb2000 now if I can get a mono camera as well and combine both data hoping it may produce quite good images. ..been keeping an eye of Gina's posts using dedicated astronomy cameras with intrest.

Mono - mainly because of the enhanced sensitivity especially when combined with narrowband or light pollution reduction filters which if using colour cameras would upset the colour balance anyway.

Colour ...because I don't get enough time due to weather. ... anyone using a filter wheel with rgb on a mono video cam was my next question to mono video users and if so can you post some unstacked and stacked images. ..Davy
