Milky Way - clear after the rain

Just popped outside to get something from the car and noticed the MW was really outstanding! Have seen it many times before, but not like tonight. There was 'texture' , deep areas, shallow areas.......beautiful. Maybe because its across the zenith or the torrential rain all day has cleared the air, but what a sight!

It also helps that its black out there, welcome back astronomical darkness!!
