3 meteors between Orion and Taurus

I got lucky with 3 shots. each 10s ISO1600 using a 40mm F2.8 lens on my mod'd Canon650D. The third one is quite faint. These are were taken between 5.56 and 6.02 am 29th July from my backyard in Perth.

Quite please that the M42 shows quite red. Initially I processed these in PaintShop Pro but they all came out very blue. I then used the Canon software and they were fine.

Not sure what is wrong with PSP.

Nice shots, but these look a lot more like satellites to me. The first two are the same satellite, in fact, I would say. That part of the sky near Orion is particularly busy with them!

They be satellites. Keep trying though because the Perseids are due in the next couple of weeks.

Yep. Satellites. Still, nice images of satellites, and interesting to see Orion in view at this time of year

Mmm, there was defianetly a flash earlier, but as the tracks are the same length I would concurr.
