Alan do you have a picture of what you used to clamp them to you box?

Here you go Dan,

towards the bottom of the page. The trusses are fixed to an angle section which has a block of wood with a captive threaded insert, the thumbwheel bolt passes through the mirror box and clamps the trusses tight. With the extremely short mirror box and space restraints, my options may have been more limited than yours. What style of dob are you building?
