Is that large faint patch in Perseus Comet Holmes?

saw it last night and then checked it again this evening - its quite faint even in bins but just visible with dark adapted, averted eyes - it really is very big but kinda shapeless - can you make out a head and tail in a decent scope assuming it is Holmes ofcourse?

It is Holmes - I had the briefest of looks tonight before a haze spread over the sky. I was using a small scope so wasn't able to see much in the way of detail. Holmes certainly looks less 'focused' than it did and more spread out in a short line if you see what I mean!

I had a look through an 8" Newt at it tonight. Completly filled the FoV in a 40mm (I think) EP. Could not see the core either

Got a glimpse naked eye last night through scattered clouds. Pretty easy target, but didn't put a scope on it.
