Its a shame it wont still be there later, just had the old long dob on it 8.5inch f7.5, 3.2mm tmb , 504x and no loss of sharpness. Like flying over the surface....

It was not so stable here unfortunately. I was using 250x - 300x with my ED120 and getting good views one second and then wobbly ones the next. Still thats the way it goes sometimes. Glad you had a good view

I just had a peek right now. First time I pointed the 8mm BST at it, very nice views, not the best at very high mags tonight, but nice views all the same considering how low it is, and near my street lamp not helping. Some nice shadows in its current phase.

Good contrast tonight, but wobbling a bit at higher mag. Needs a cold crisp night and clear skies,
