Things to find around the plough

Mizar and Alcor are probably the best for a scope that size, but with a good dark night, with very little light pollution, you may catch some of the galaxies. However, I haven't managed them with my 6-inch, but I suffer a lot of light pollution to the north

hmm i'm thinking i might not av saw what i thought i saw! lol i know i wash in the right area! az 339.17 alt 36.07! eye's must have been playin tricks on me lol oh well i am just starting out and its a steep learning curve! i now see reading the posts back you were all very gentle! lol Very clear skies:p

Great thread thanks guys. The Plough is perfectly placed to view from my small garden at the mo so this has helped a lot.
