Lunar X and V

Great views of the Lunar X and V on show now, worth a look if you've got clear skies.

Also looks like there will be an occultation of what I think is 55 Leo, going behind the dark limb of the moon in a few minutes time.

I've just run off a series of the Lunar "X" - to process and post in the morning. I've never seen it before and it's quite surprising just how quickly it forms. The Moon is below the Observatory wall now..................

Looked out after reading your post, saw the moon was in view, dragged the scope out the garage to have a quick peek only to see a large bank of clouds roll over the moon, spitting with rain now..... thought this was summer time!!!
