Solar Imaging / Viewing

Hey everyone,

With two daughters so young, my starts in the morning are just too early to get out of an evening with it being so bright at the moment so I'm considering dabbling with a bit of solar viewing and imaging.

I've been told the the sky is the limit with cost in this area, but what's the best budget way to get started with the equipment I have already (in my sig). Between film, filters and available scopes I'm unsure where's best to start to get the right balance between cost and performance.

Just get some Baader solar film. You can be solar observing with any scope for a few tenners
