sloz1664
Hi there,Your manual shows you how to set your gain & offset. If you are using any filters, these must be fitted prior to the test.Try these links on setting up your QHY8Lwww.youtube.com/watch?v=cw8i5DMZ4SQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo5VbLPQHxEcheersSteve

sloz1664
Sorry for not replying sooner, work seems to always get in the way.My gain & offset settings are currently 8 & 119 on my QHY8pro.I used the foolowing link to set my gain & offset, it's more in-depth than the QHY manual but it worked for me.http://www.cool.id.au/astronomy/Neb_tut/Scientifically%20determining%20CCD%20Gain%20and%20Offset.pdfCan you explain how you took your flats. What time of day, exposure time etc.. Try to give as much information as you can, so we can determine your problems. Are your colour images ok?cheersSteve
