Did anyone see Mars and the Moon last night

When I was out at 8.30 last night I noticed mars and the moon fairly close together. When I got back in, I checked starry night and saw that just before dawn they get quite close.

I usually get up at 7am, but it was cloudy and I didn't get to see it. Did any early birds get to see the pair?

I saw the pairing at around midnight (through a small break in the clouds) and they were indeed very close.

A nice sight it was as well.

BTW, The screenshot is 42 degrees in altitude (aberdeen) and at 7am (showing daylight, apparently!)

I didn't see them last nite but I did this morning, nice and clear. Caught me by surprise really, thought I might try and catch them again t'row but guess what ??......................
