twelly27
Hi alli have the chance to get an NEQ6 and was wondering if I can get my sky max 127 onto it? Or is it only bigger scopes that will fit?thankschris
Bizibilder
There is no problem at all in putting a "small" scope on the mount. The only time you get problems is if you overload a mount with a scope(s) that is too heavy for its design loading. You don't say which Skymax model you have - you may need to buy a dovetail bar and some rings for it.
steppenwolf
No problem with fitting your 127 at all to an NEQ6
RichieP
Later model 127s have a dovetail attached directly to the scope so you can just fit it directly to the mount. Earlier models have a different fitting but FLO sell a replacement dovetail. You just unscrew the original and fit the replacement. No need for tube rings. malc-c
the only problem you may have is balancing as the 127 is so light compared to the CW on the NEQ6. I had an 127 mak on an EQ5 and had to have the CW right up against the mount and even then it was still CW heavy
