Video Capture Software

Hello,,, can anyone recommend some good Video Capture Software that works well with registax5, I don’t mind paying a few quid for it as long as it comes bug free and it works, having problems finding something that works.

Got the webcam (cheep Asda 1 plug n play no disc), got registax5 installed and debut video capture software, don’t know if im doing something wrong or the setting are out but all i keep getting is “codec:H264vids”

Yes, I'd say SharpCap is definitely the place to start.

does sharpcap need a download of....microsoft.NET framework 4?? cuz that it where it has sent me??

I'm honestly not sure. I don't recall having to install it when I first installed SharpCap, but that doesn't mean that I didn't already have it installed.

Oh, use the 1.5.344 (or whatever 1.5 version is most recent) version rather than the v2 release.

Another one to try is WxAstrocapture. It's bug free (well I've had no problems and I've been using it a few years now).
