Is this a decent flat

Hi

I have an electro luminescent sheet for my flats, it gives a good even light but I wonder if Im getting a good flat

I have attached one for comment, all I have done is resize and converted to a jpeg

Hi John - It's been a while since I used a DSLR, but looking at the histogram, it looks pretty reasonable...

If I were being a pedant, I would say it's a LITTLE over exposed - I used to aim for the histogram to be between 1/3 and 1/2 full well (ie more towards the left)

So long as tbe imaging sensor is linear then I'd have thought even a flat close to saturation would be fine - so long as no part of it is saturated.
