Frustrating Lunar 100 observing session

I thought I would share my mood around :)

Finally, a clear night, and the moon after half, for the first time in I don't know how long. Set up the scope, target moon, list of lunar 100 targets at hand. I found loads, but the seeing was so poor, they were a shimmering mess! The Aristarchus plateau looks like a lovely little spot to spend time on - it went on a growing list of things to look at again, when the seeing is better!

I reckon it's probably due to the fact I am now observing over about 200 rooftops and boiler flue outlets! Here's to moving to the country, and the return of the winter with dark skies and high ecliptics!

I swear the sky glow has become much worst around here with the increase in building, both industrial and domestic, has increased. Also, my neighbour's boiler flue sets off their security light, so sometimes summer is better.
