Hi, does anyone know if/how the end if the tube comes of, I'd like to try fixing a 2" centering adaptor on the focuser?

Not easily... Scared to force it, took the grub screws out and had a try

Well I don't even know if I can, that's why I want to know what's under it? Probably come to nothing but I'm just a but down at the moment and cheesed off with grub screws...

basically its just taking my mind off of other cack stuff

i had a look at my 8" skyliner knobby. it unscrewed. so the metal tube is also threaded. on my focuser though ,theres no grub screw to remove ,so how alike they are i dont know.

its a standard thread from the inside of the tube and the end piece should unscrew.if yours is seized in,take the tube out of focuser and try removing the ring then.easier to hold it in hands
