Saturn April 19-20th QHY5L-ll colour 1st light.

Turns out I'd not messed up the colour balance when capturing for the first time with the colour QHY, all I'd done wrong was not select "force GRBG" in AS!2. So here is 2 shots from that night. The seeing was so bad I stacked just 500 frames from over 5000 for each :

Nice work Stuart. Full Cassini in that last shot...can make out the hex feature easily also. Good stuff and well worth combining the data.

Is the QHY colour a new cam for you or have you had this for a while?

Thanks Pete I got the colour QHY on Friday. If it performs at least as well as the dfk then its bye bye dfk.

Thanks Alan. My reason for getting the colour QHY is to make it a simpler method to combine with the mono QHY as the DFK needs an extension tube plus different focus.
