Comet Holmes in Widefield and Close In 14/11/07

My 'Holmes' images have so far all been taken with a 10" Reflector but the object is easily large enough now to be taken through my 200mm Canon Telephoto lens. The following image comprises of 29 subs of 60 seconds duration each. Camera used was my SXVF-H9C.

The second image, also taken tonight but with the 10" Reflector shows yet again that the comet is still increasing in size. 9 subs of 180 seconds each.

Jamie, Kevin, thank you for your comments. There is something about wide field images that really appeals to me - I guess it is seeing the object in it's surroundings rather than just being singled out all by itself.
