ASI 120 MC long exposure

Hi,

The people who sell this camera claim that it can expose at up to 1000s, has anyone who owns one of these tried to use very long exposure for DSO imaging and what was the result?

I cannot answer your question because I am just now evaluating the buying of this camera. But you can tell me the impression you have about the ASI performance.

The camera is supposed to be on its way to me, I get it and if the sky allows I shall have a go at it and report back.

Could be worth asking about long exposures on the ZWO users forums. There may be people reading that who aren't on SGL. I've not tried long exposures with the camera myself.
