  1. May be I could have problems with the 64bit. Not for the USB3, my PC is so old that at that time the USB3 did not exist. I am more and more tempted to buy the ASI
  2. A.G., I cannot answer your question because I am just now evaluating the buying of this camera. But you can tell me the impression you have about the ASI performance. I slall appreciate very much, because the other alternate solution I am considering is the NexImage5. Thanks Ezio
  3. So, now it is clear that the people talking about ASI difficulty to operate with AMD processor is wrong. Your good results demonstrated that they are talking without direct experience Thanks. Ciao Ezio
  4. Sorry, this is the night of the mistakes. You listed the used software under the pictures.
  5. StuW, only now I look at your pictures taken with the ASI129MC. They are a dream for me. What kind of software did you used ? (IRIS, Registax, Photoshop, ????) Ciao Ezio
  6. After 1 year of visual observation I should like to try the astrophotography using a webcam. Reading several forum I found good opinions about the ASI120mc and NexImage5 cameras. Having no specific experience I should like to have some opinion and suggestion about these camera and what of them is more adequate for a biginner. I read also that ASI has problems with AMD based computer: Has anyone experience of ASI operation with PC based on AMD processor? I would mantain my budget close to 300€ (about 390 USD) and both the above cameras are in this range, so it is very difficult to me to take a decision. I need some suggestion from people more experienced then myself. Thanks for the assistance. Ezio
  7. Thank you to everybody for the welcome messages. Good night. Ezio
  8. StuW, scuse me, but did you had PC with AMD processor? If yes, what type of processor? Thank you very much for your kind assistance Ezio
  9. After 1 year of visual observation I should like to check the astrophotography using a webcam. I red several discussions about the above mentioned camera but I had not a clear idea of what camera is the best for a beginner. I red also that ASI has problems with AMD based computer: based on your experience is it correct? I would mantain my budget close to 300€ (about 390 USD) and both the above cameras are in this range. Really I am not able to decide and I need some suggestions. Thanks for the assistance. Ezio
